In the second quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on a unified platform showed varying performance trends across South America. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights the key metrics for these popular apps.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced consistent weekly downloads, averaging around 330K. The app maintained a strong user base with weekly active users fluctuating between 33.6M and 35.8M throughout the quarter.

Google Maps Go saw steady weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 234K by the end of June. Active users remained stable, ranging from 162M to 166M. Revenue was minimal but noted a slight increase in select weeks.

Google Earth had a gradual increase in downloads, reaching over 123K in late June. Active users varied slightly, with a peak of 1.91M mid-quarter.
